My Story

Golden State start, Lone Star heart!

I'm a California girl, residing in Texas, and a busy mom of 3.

I created Butterwhip because I needed it.

As a busy woman juggling life, family, and everything in between, there were days I gave more than I had—and self-care was always the first thing out the window. Time flew by, and before I knew it, I was getting older. My skin was changing, my energy was fading, and the neglect was becoming harder to ignore.

I knew something had to change. It had been so long since I’d done anything just for me, but I decided to start with healing my skin. I began crafting my own soap and body butters, and before long, the results spoke for themselves. Encouraged by the transformation, I bottled my creations and signed up for my first event. To my surprise, I nearly sold out. I had been so timid, so unsure—but the response was overwhelming. That’s when I realized I had created more than just skincare. I had found a solution to a shared problem by creating products that not only nourish the skin but invite you to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

Now, creating is my mission and my therapy—using calming colors, blending uplifting scents, and developing textures that feel luxurious and healing on the skin. My goal? To make self-care an irresistible ritual. Because that "me time" we so often put aside? We should crave it daily!

Butterwhip was born from that space—a reminder that caring for yourself isn’t a misuse of time, but a return to your best self. It doesn't have to be time consuming and the choice doesn't have to be complicated. It just has to be intentional.

Now, I share this self-elevating ritual with you—to invite you into a moment to glow, ground, and nourish yourself back to balance. Because that’s where your best work truly derives from.

With love,
